Background

A boy, born in Tehran, loses his father at the age of three and grows up with his single mother. The older he gets, the stronger his dream of building a life of freedom for himself and his mother develops. He travels to Germany as a student, but does not manage to finish his studies; he is threatened with deportation!

Left everything behind, came to Germany with hope, fought for years and now….

The dream bursts, a deep hole!

He meets JESUS,

gives his life to him,

will be his successor

and experiences day after day how JESUS heals, liberates and renews him.

And then the moment! JESUS asks him: “Would you like to work for me?”

He is overwhelmed and answers the question in the affirmative. At this moment, his work begins…

First the production of media content starts, then faith and language courses for Persian speakers are created in his community. The work expands: First Bavaria-wide, then Germany-wide. He is responsible for supporting churches in their work among migrants and finally, in 2021, receives the command from JESUS: “Now you are founding the Shagerdsazi Church!”

Shagerdsazi is a Persian word and means “disciple maker”.

Shagerdsazi Church, is a free church that makes disciples – as JESUS commanded in Matthew 28:19,20: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.”

It is there for everyone: no matter what nation or origin, because everyone needs JESUS.
